Milling for Home Machinists

Milling for Home Machinists is a project-based course that provides a complete introduction to milling and the use of the milling machine. It assumes no prior knowledge and works through the processof using a home shop mill from beginning to end. Advance through a series of practice projects that will teach you how to use the milling machine and develop essential skills through practical application. Four minor and four major milling projects are provided to gain basic skills and build expertise to create a series of useful and increasingly complex tools. The eight projects are extensively illustrated, with full workshop drawings accompanying the text. Projects advance from easy to intermediate difficulty, and each tool made can be used in later projects.
